      srt- I don’t have many thoughts about the off season. Happy about DW. Sad to see RA go but excited about the trade too. Marcum? Okay. OUTFIELD?!? Not much to talk about I guess. I am always quietly lurking realdirty, just not much of an active participant. LOL

      stick- have to make a new banner. The Mets kept our winner. Plus, that was 50th anniversary specific with a guideline of depicting a favorite Mets memory. I would definitely get more creative.

    After reading Mark Simon’s article on ESPN about the top 5 Mets lineups, I was taking a look at how the 1999 Mets were put together. Pretty interesting how hardly anyone was actually brought up in the Mets system.

    Of the top 9 in PA, 2 were signed as Amateur FA, 1 was Drafted, 3 were signed as FA, and 3 were acquired via Trade.

    Of the top 6 Starters, 1 was signed as an Amateur FA, 3 signed as FA, and 2 were traded for.
