2013 Caribbean Series Begins Today

The 2013 Caribbean Series is set to begin today at the new Sonora Stadium (Estadio Sonora) in Hermosillo, Mexico. The 4 countries participating are Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and of course the host city Mexico. The countries will compete in a six-day double-round-robin with the top two teams playing for the championship on the 7th day which falls on Feb. 7.

ESPNDeportes will be televising the games. You can also watch the Venezuela games online here and the Dominican Republic games online here.

2/4/2013

  • 1st place vs 2nd place 9:00pm EST

New York Mets players that will be participating in the series are:

    not much of a representation from the Mets, but at least a few are there.

    The host site for the series is linked above but they are not streaming the games. The only 2 teams I could find that are streaming their games are the Dominican Republic and Venezuela.
