Oh man. Fred insisting they stick to the “plan”. The “sandy watchers” are going to love that.

  2. Stick

he did slip up once and said “I” before he corrected that to “Sandy”. So I am still skeptical that Fred (and especially Jeffy) are quite as hands off as he is implying.

I do believe that there is a different way of doing business in the Sandy FO, but not completely up to him. Fred already took “credit” for DW.

But, it is their money. And the GM is supposed to be the front man for everyone.

      All good points.

      I still insist:

      - The Mets were certainly broke after the Madoff debacle – despite what Wilpon and Dave Howard insisted early on.

      - SA would not be the GM, had the Madoff debacle not happened. I don’t think Omar would be today either

      - And isn’t it ironic that apparently now that the Mets have emerged from having one foot in bankruptcy court, they’re now admitting they had a financial problem?

All I keep telling myself is at least the owner isn’t Loria….

not sure loria would be worse. He seems to be all about making more money for himself. And knows when to blow the wad on players to win to accomplish that. So certainly a better chance he would go all-in to chase a ring!

Do I protect Kimbrel or Kemp?

    1. TX

Let me expound on this. I have Verlander, Price, Kimbrel, & Kemp. Choose 3 to protect.

Protect yourself and your family. those guys can all take care of themselves!

but if you mean fantasy, which category is more important to you, saves or Offense? If you think you will be covered in saves take Kemp instead of Kimbrel.

I decided Kemp, just because I don’t have to root for the Braves to win.
