I think it was a (sadly) typical Mets deal, where they went all in on the wrong hand. or zigged when everyone else zagged.

Instead of getting more committed they should be trying to figure out how to leave and head toward civilization.

I wonder why they left St. Pete to begin with.

        my guess, money.

    Saw this tweet from McCullough

Mark Teixeira has a strained forearm. Out a week to 10 days and done with WBC. Did it in cage before game.

And so it starts. I know these injuries can happen in ST same as WBC – Murph and Wheeler come to mind – but crossing my fingers Wright comes back healthy. If not, I think the Mets blogsphere will explode.

Murph, Wheeler, Feliciano, Santana, Mejia, Kirk… Anyone else?

Think that covers it…unless Marcum is deemed not ready for opening day.

The Mets blogosphere explodes pretty much everyday as it is. Some Mets fans aren’t happy unless they are unhappy.

I heard Sandy farted in front of a family of 4 today. He should probably be drawn, quartered and shot for that nastiness.

Omar always kept his gas internalized.

The so called Mets blogosphere is there solely to provide comic relief and not even worth wasting our time over unless you enjoy slapstick comedy. :-)

Its the same people having the same argument every damn day.

And the argument seems to consist of “You’re a doody head” . “No, you’re a bigger doody head”. Rinse, repeat.

however, my GM can beat up your GM, so there.

Random: How sick is the Dominican Republic team with these guys in the lineup: Jose Reyes, Robinson Cano,Hanley Ramirez, Miguel Tejada and they’re looking to add Beltre for round 2. They lit up Cole pretty good today.

I hope they broke his pansy ass spirit, and turned him into a quivering mess, thereby ruining his entire year.

Not that I hate the Phillies or anything…

From what I read earlier, those 12 hits he gave up in 2 .2 innings was the most hits he’s ever given up in any game spanning his ML career.

Not that I hate Philly or anything…either.
