mrmetflowers2After struggling to a 9-12 April filled with inconsistency and talk of a wasted 2009 many fans felt the Mets were on the ropes.   Then what happens?   Injuries to Delgado, Reyes, Cora, Beltran, Church, and the list continues to grow even today.   So what makes this story different?   Amid all the disappointments of the past 2 seasons and the daily injuries has ANYONE notices that   the Mets have quietly put together THEIR BEST MAY OF ALL TIME?   Better than   the 1969, 1986, 1988, 2000 and 2006 teams.   The Mets finished off May at 19-9 moving them to 7 games above .500 for the year.   Instead of fans talking about the Mets missing something, it may be that we the fans have been missing something this year.   FAITH.   Why can't this year be the year that the fans go back to the Mets slogan of You Gotta Believe?manuelbelievechuck_norris1
