  • The Kingsport Mets scored a late touchdown and their defense held on to beat the Greeneville Astros 17-7 Saturday.   4 members of the '09 draft class played for the K-Mets.   P Brian Needham threw 1 inning, the 9th, and allowed 2 runs on 1 walk and 1 hit (a home run) while striking out 1.   LF John Semel walked in the 2nd, walked again in the 3rd, singled and scored in the 7th and singled and scored in the 9th to go 2 for 5.   CF Ronald Harris walked in the 1st, singled stole a base (his 8th) and scored in the 3rd, and walked and scored in the 5th to go 1 for 4.   C John Freeman walked in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, hit another RBI double in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled again in the 9th to go 4 for 5.   He now has 5 doubles and 11 RBI on the season.   For more see the box score and recap.
