New York Mets owner Fred Wilpon held a rare media session this evening. Andy Martino of the NY Daily News posted some of his quotes in his article. In it Wilpon spoke on his outlook for 2011 and his desire of Minaya coming back to work for the Mets in some capacity but he also spoke about the team's finances. In doing so he seemed to hint that he has some people that have not produced in the past that he is carrying but that maybe at some point he will no longer carry them. "Our payroll is approaching $150 million. We’re not at $48 million. We have a high payroll. It’s true, we have some people that have not produced in the past and we’re still carrying that, and maybe we won’t carry it, but we have a high payroll.”So when he says "we have some people that have not produced in the past and we’re still carrying that, and maybe we won’t carry it" is "that" a reference to Oliver Perez?
