Last night on the farm, the Mets prospects brought their bats and came away with an organizational sleep.  Let’s have a look:

Las Vegas 6, Sacramento 5

Jacob deGrom allowed a solo homer, but that was the only run he gave up in 5 innings, striking out 5 while allowing 4 hits and 2 walks.  Josh Edgin and Jeff Walters combined for the final 4 outs, getting the win and save respectively, as the 51s scored 5 runs in the bottom of the 8th.  Eric Campbell and Zach Lutz both doubled.  Danny Muno hit a solo homer.  Bobby Abreu had 2 hits; he has 7 hits in the last 4 games.  Wilmer Flores went hitless and committed a fielding error at shortstop for the second straight game.

Binghamton 9, New Hampshire 1

Darin Gorski struck out 10 while allowing just 1 unearned run over 6 innings on 4 hits and 2 walks.  With an impressive start to the season, Gorski should get up to AAA as soon as there’s an opening in the rotation.  Adam Kolarek threw 2 shutout innings out of the bullpen.  Brian Burgamy was 2 for 4 with a 3-run homer.  Dustin Lawley also homered.  Matt Reynolds was 3 for 4 with a double and RBI.  Darrell Ceciliani and Kyle Johnson were both 2 for 4 with a double.  Jayce Boyd also doubled.

St. Lucie 13, Jupiter 3

The Lucies went off for 20 hits in this one.  Jairo Perez had 5 of them, including 2 doubles.  Brandon Nimmo was 2 for 3 with a 2-run homer and 2 walks.  T.J. Rivera was 4 for 6 with a double and 5 RBI’s.  Dilson Herrera was 2 for 5 with a triple and RBI.  Aderlin Rodriguez and Albert Cordero had 2 hits each.  Rodriguez, Eudy Pina, and Maikis De La Cruz all doubled.  Meanwhile, Gabriel Ynoa cruised through 6 innings, giving up 1 run on 4 hits, walking 2 and striking out 5.  Jake Kuebler gave up 2 unearned runs over 3 innings to pick up the save.

Savannah 12, Rome 5

Miller Diaz started and gave up 3 runs over 4 innings, walking 4 and striking out 4.  Robert Whalen piggy backed for 4 innings, striking out just 1, but allowing just 1 run on 3 hits.  Jeff McNeil was 4 for 5 with 2 doubles, a triple, and 3 RBI’s.  Patrick Biondi was 3 for 4 with a double and 3 runs scored.  Stefan Sabol hit a 3-run homer.  Gavin Cecchini was 2 for 5 with a walk and 2 runs scored.  Jared King was 2 for 5 with a double and 3 RBI’s.  Dominic Smith went 0 for 5.
