Rains washed away the Savannah game, but other than that it was all sunshine on the farm. Observe. Buffalo 4, Lehigh Valley 1Chris Schwinden was the star of the night, tossing seven innings giving up one run on four hits with a walk and a strikeout. Jack Egbert and Fernando Cabrera each tossed a shutout innings of relief and Zach Lutz was 2 for 3. Pat Misch, remember him?, took the loss for the Iron Pigs. Binghamton 10, New Hampshire 6The B-Mets rode a six run third to coast to a victory over the Fisher Cats, though Kevin Mulvey came in to relieve Colin McHugh (5IP, 1 R, 4H, 2BB, 6K) and did his damnedest to make it a game again, giving up four runs in an inning and a third. Six B-Mets had multiple hits and 2B Josh Rodriguez connected for his first home run of the year St. Lucie 6, Charlotte 1Gonzalez German went 5.1 innings, giving up just one run on two hits while walking three and striking out five. John Church, Adam Kolarek and Adrian Rosario combined for 3.2 innings of shutout relief. OF Cesar Puello returned and went 2 for 4 with a run and an RBI, and Wilmer Flores went 2 for three with two doubles and two RBI. Danny Muno also added an RBI and two runs scored in the effort.
