Last night on the farm Las Vegas had its double header postponed in Colorado Springs.  It does not appear as if they will try to play those games today, even though the entire PCL has an off day.  Here’s how the other three games unfolded: Portland 9, Binghamton 8 (10 innings)Tyler Pill was inadequate, giving up 4 runs in 4 innings.  Adam Kolarek also gave up 4 runs in just 2.2 innings.  Jack Leathersich shut the door for a while, walking 1 and striking out 3 in 2.1 innings.  But John Church let up the game-winning run in the bottom of the 10th.  Darrell Ceciliani and Blake Forsythe both had 2 hits, including a double.  Forsythe is hitting .345/.457/.655 while platooning at catcher.  Allan Dykstra doubled and drove in 2 runs.  Danny Muno also doubled. Charlotte 3, St. Lucie 2Noah Syndergaard was much better than he was his last time out.  He pitched 6 innings allowing just an unearned run on 3 hits with 2 walks and 4 strikeouts.  Estarlin Morel gave up a run and took the loss.  Dustin Lawley was 2 for 4 with a homer.  Matt Reynolds, Aderlin Rodriguez, and Alberto Cordero all had doubles. Savannah 9, Delmarva 1Luis Cessa continued his hot start to the season with 6 shutout innings, allowing 5 hits and no walks while striking out 7.  He has a 1.02 ERA with 16 strikeouts in 17.2 innings.  Julian Hilario and Tyler Vanderheiden combined for the final 3 innings to finish the game.  The three-headed monster of NimBoyEcki (conveniently they bat in that order) was 4 for 11.  Boyd had 2 hits, including a double, and drove in 2 runs.  Greg Pron and Phillip Evans both had a double and 2 RBI’s.  Eudy Pina was 2 for 4 with an RBI.  Nimmo struck out twice, but walked and scored 2 runs.
