Binghamton was rained out yet again, so they’ll attempt to play a double-header today.  Let’s take a look at the rest of the night on the farm, including a double-header involving Savannah:


Las Vegas 7, Tacoma 6


Noah Syndergaard let up 3 runs on 6 hits over 5 innings, walking 2 and striking out 6.  Jeff Walters gave up 2 hits, but pitched a scoreless 9th to pick up his 6th save of the season.  Andrew Brown was 3 for 4 with a homer and 2 RBI’s.  Allan Dykstra was 2 for 4 with a double.  Taylor Teagarden had 2 doubles.  Zach Lutz and Eric Campbell also doubled.


St. Lucie 13, Bradenton 4


The Lucies blew a 3-0 lead in the 7th, but responded with 10 runs in the 8th to get the win.  Michael Fulmer had a bounce-back outing, throwing 5 shutout innings, allowing 5 hits and striking out 4 without walking anybody.  Brandon Nimmo was 2 for 2 with 3 walks.  T.J. Rivera, Jairo Perez, and Aderlin Rodriguez had 2 hits each.  Rodriguez hit a grandslam, doubled, and ended up with 6 RBI’s.


Savannah 4, Lakewood 1 (Game 1, 7 innings)


Robert Gsellman threw a complete game, allowing just 1 run on 5 hits with no walks and 7 innings.  L.J. Mazzilli hit a 2-run homer.  Jeff McNeil was 3 for 3 with a double and 2 runs scored.  Dominic Smith and Gavin Cecchini both went hitless.


Savannah 10, Lakewood 2 (Game 2, 7 innings)


Miller Diaz threw 6 strong innings, giving up 2 runs on 4 hits and striking out 8.  Stefan Sabol was 2 for 3 with a grand slam and 5 RBI’s.  Jared King doubled and drove in 2 runs.  Jeff McNeil, Dominic Smith, and Jorge Rivero had 2 hits each.  Colton Plaia was 3 for 4 with 2 doubles.  Gavin Cecchini was 0 for 5, dropping his average to an even .200.
