St. Lucie was off last night while Binghamton and Savannah were rained out, so only Vegas was in action last night.

Las Vegas 7, Sacramento 6

Cesar Puello walked, stole second and scored on a single from Matt den Dekker in the bottom of the 9th to give Vegas a walk-off win.  It was den Dekker’s second hit and second RBI of the game.  Bobby Abreu was 2 for 5 with 2 doubles.  Juan Centeno was 1 for 3 with 2 walks and 3 RBI’s.  Puello also doubled and drove in a run.  Daisuke Matsuzaka started and gave up 3 runs in 5 innings, walking 4 and striking out 4.  Josh Edgin walked 1 but pitched a scoreless and hitless 9th to get the win.

Wilmer Flores once again started at shortstop while Eric Campbell played second base for the second straight day.  Puello, who slugged .547 in AA last year, was the 8th place hitter, which shows how good the 51s are.  Sandy Alderson should have predicted Vegas to win 90 games, cause that’s happening.
