Only a pair of minor league games on Easter Sunday, let’s take a look: Buffalo 5, Rochester 3 Val Pascucci hit a solo homer in the 8th to break a 3-3 tie and deliver a win to the Jeremy Hefner and the Bisons.  Hefner pitched 7 innings, giving up 3 runs (2 earned) while striking out 4.  Daniel Herrera got the save after pitching 2 scoreless innings.  In addition to Pascucci, Adam Loewen and Matt Tuiasosopo both homered as well.  Jordany Valdespin played centerfield for the second day in a row; at the plate he was 1 for 4 and drew his first walk of the season, which is also something to keep an eye on for Valdespin this year. Augusta 8, Savannah 5 Domingo Tapia made his season debut and lasted for 5 innings, giving up 3 runs on 4 hits while striking out 3.  It was a solid first outing for Tapia, who left with a chance to win, but the bullpen let the Gnats down for the second time in four games.  Carlos Vazquez took the loss after giving up 3 runs in 1.1 innings.  Estarlin Morel followed by giving up 2 more runs.  For the second straight game Aderlin Rodriguez hit a 3-run homer, but the Gnats couldn’t muster up enough offense to offset a treacherous performance by the bullpen.
