As the Mets keep losing, the farm keeps winning.  Let’s take a look:

 

Las Vegas 5, Tacoma 5 (Suspended in 8th inning)

 

Noah Syndergaard struck out 10 in 6 innings, allow he allowed 5 runs on 8 hits, but with no walks.  Jeff Walters threw a scoreless inning in relief.  Matt den Dekker had 3 hits.  Kirk Nieuwenhuis had 2 hits and 2 RBI’s.  Danny Muno had 2 hits.  This game will be completed today before the regularly scheduled game between these two teams.

 

Binghamton 5, Harrisburg 2

 

Rainy Lara had another good outing, striking out 7 in 6.2 innings, giving up 2 runs on 4 hits, walking 1.  Lara had one rough outing, but he’s been real good in his other 5 starts this season.  Jack Leathersich picked up his first save of the season with a scoreless 9th, striking out 2 and walking 1.  Dustin Lawley was 2 for 3 with a double and 3-run homer.  Travis Taijeron also doubled.

 

St. Lucie 2, Palm Beach 0

 

Matt Koch threw 6.2 scoreless innings allowing 3 hits and 1 walk, striking out 2.  Randy Fontanez and Beck Wheeler combined for the final 2.1 innings to complete the shutout.  Dilson Herrera and Phillip Evans had 2 hits and 1 RBI each.  Brandon Nimmo was 1 for 3 with a walk and strikeout.

 

Savannah 1, Charleston 0

 

John Gant threw 6 shutout innings, allowing 3 hits and 4 walks, striking out just 1.  Dawrin Frias threw 2 shutout innings and Robert Coles threw a scoreless 9th for his 7th save of the season.  Coles has not allowed a run in 14 innings this year.  L.J. Mazzilli had 2 hits.  Dominic Smith was 0 for 4.  Gavin Cecchini was 0 for 3 with a walk and run scored in his return to the lineup after a minor knee injury.
