Quite a boring day on the farm, as both Binghamton and St. Lucie were rained out.  The B-Mets will play a double header today, while the Lucies have today off.  Lets’s get to the two games that were actually played: Las Vegas 4, Albuquerque 3This game was a pitcher’s duel between Zack Wheeler and Aaron Laffey.  Raise your hand if you saw that coming.  Wheeler pitched 7.1 innings, giving up 2 runs on 6 hits, with 1 walk and 7 strikeouts.  Justin Hampson blew the save but got the win after Reese Havens drew a walk-off walk to win the game in the bottom of the 9th.  Just 4 total hits for Vegas.  One was a homer by Wilmer Flores.  Eric Campbell also homered.  Kirk Nieuwenhuis was 0 for 4. Savannah 3, Rome 2After a couple solid starts in St. Lucie, Robert Gsellman is down in Savannah, and got a win after pitching 5.1 innings, giving up 1 run on 4 his with 2 walks and 2 strikeouts.  Bret Mitchell notched his 6th save of the season.  Jayce Boyd was 2 for 4 with his 3rd homerun of the season.  Kevin Plawecki and Cole Frenzel each doubled.
