It was a good night on the farm, with plenty of winning and some great pitching performances form some surprising guys.  Let’s take a look: Las Vegas 9, Omaha 4Carlos Torres pitched well enough to get the win, giving up 4 runs over 6 innings, with 5 strikeouts.  Greg Peavey threw 2 shutout innings and Sean Henn pitched a scoreless 9th.  Josh Satin was 3 for 5 with 2 strikeouts.  Andrew Brown was 2 for 3 with a triple, homer, and 4 RBI’s.  Zach Lutz was 2 for 5 with a double, triple, and 3 RBI’s. Portland 10, Binghamton 7Mark Cohoon gave up 4 runs on 8 hits over 5 innings, with 2 walks and 5 strikeouts.  Chase Huchingson had a rare off night, giving up 2 runs in 2 innings with no walks and 3 strikeouts.  Jeff Walters experienced his first blown save and loss of the season, giving up 4 runs in .2 innings.  Wilfredo Tovar was 3 for 4 with an RBI.  Cory Vaughn was 2 for 4 with an RBI.  The B-Mets had 9 hits, but none for extra bases. St. Lucie 10, Bradenton 0Angel Cuan surprised everyone with 7 shutout innings, allowing just 3 hits and a walk with 6 strikeouts.  Meanwhile, the Lucies bats were explosive.  Aderlin Rodriguez was 4 for 5 with a double, homer, and 4 RBI’s.  T.J. Rivera, Matt Reynolds, Dustin Lawley, Rylan Sandoval, and Charley Thurber all had 2 hits each.  Rivera, Cam Maron, and Travis Taijeron all doubled. Savannah 3, Augusta 1Matt Koch gave up 1 unearned run over 6 innings, with 1 walk and 5 strikeouts.  Jake Kuebler and Bret Mitchell combined for 3 shutout innings out of the bullpen.  Jayce Boyd and Kevin Plawecki both got back on track wih 2 hits each; Boyd doubled.
