While the Mets had a brief 11-inning game, this is what happened Sunday on the farm:

Reno 7, Las Vegas 4

The 51s slide continues, with Greg Peavey getting roughed up for 7 runs in 3 innings.  Jeff Walters, Erik Goeddel, and Ryan Reid all threw 2 scoreless innings, but the damage was already done.  Omar Quintanilla was 2 for 4 with 2 RBIs.  Kirk Nieuwenhuis was 2 for 4 with a triple.  Juan Centeno also had 2 hits.

New Britain 6, Binghamton 1

Alex Panteliodis allowed 5 runs on 7 hits over 3.2 innings and took the loss.  Jack Leathersich struck out 3, allowing 1 hit and 1 walk in a single inning of work.  Darrell Ceciliani and Rylan Sandoval had 2 hits each.  Brian Burgamy, Matt Clark, and Nelfi Zapata all had doubles.

St. Lucie 6, Dayton 0

Steven Matz threw another gem, going 6.2 innings, giving up 4 hits and 2 walks while striking out 4.  Aderlin Rodriguez was 2 for 4 with a solo homer.  Gilbert Gomez, Jairo Perez, and Phillip Evans also had 2 hits each.  Still no Brandon Nimmo, but he should be back soon.  Fort Myers swept a double-header, so St. Lucie is a game back in the loss column.

Savannah 4, Rome 3

John Gant allowed 3 runs on 6 hits over 7 innings, walking 2 and striking out 4.  Dawrin Frias got the win after a scoreless 8th and Robert Coles picked up his 10th save of the season.  Jeff McNeil had 3 hits and 3 RBI’s.  L.J. Mazzilli was 3 for 4 with his 6th homer of the season.  Gavin Cecchini and Dominic Smith both went hitless.
