Binghamton and Savannah were off last night, but we still had 3 farm clubs in action, including two of the Mets top pitching prospects in action.  Let’s have a look:

Oklahoma City 5, Las Vegas 1

Noah Syndergaard made his return from the DL, but had a tough time, allowing 4 runs on 7 hits over 4 innings, walking 1 and striking out 3.  Chase Bradford allowed 5 hits, but pitched 2 scoreless innings.  Anthony Seratelli had 2 of the 51s 5 total hits, including a triple.  Travis d’Arnaud was 1 for 4.

St. Lucie 6, Charlotte 2

Steven Matz struck out 6 in 6 innings, while giving up 2 runs on 6 hits and 1 walk to earn his 4th win of the season.  Paul Sewald and Randy Fontanez combined for 3 scoreless innings to close out the game.  Brandon Nimmo was 2 for 3 with a double, triple, and RBI.  Jairo Perez was 2 for 4 with a double.  Maikis De La Cruz had 3 hits; Eudy Pina doubled and drove in 2 runs.  Fort Myers also won, so St. Lucie remains a half game back with 2 games left in the first half of the season.

Staten Island 7, Brooklyn 2

Carlos Valdez started and lasted 4 innings, allowing 2 runs on 2 hits, but walking 6.  Gaither Bumgardner took the loss after allowing 4 unearned runs in 4 innings.  Joe Tuschak was 3 for 4 with a double.  Tyler Moore also doubled.  Amed Rosario was 0 for 3, but drove in a run.
