While the Mets continued to embarrass themselves, the teams down on the farm continued to impress.  Here’s what happened Sunday afternoon: Las Vegas 3, Fresno 2 (10 innings)Jamie Hoffman doubled home Josh Satin to give the 51s the lead in the 10th and David Aardsma picked up the save to seal the victory.  Aardsma, Sean Henn, Greg Peavey, and Gonzalez Germen all pitched a scoreless inning of relief.  Rylan Sandoval was 4 for 4.  Brian Bixler was 2 for 4 with a double, homer, and 2 RBI’s.  Wilmer Flores flied out in a pinch-hitting appearance. Binghamton 7, New Hampshire 2Jacob deGrom continues to improve, giving up 2 runs in 5.1 innings, giving up 4 hits and 3 walks with 6 strikeouts.  Adam Kolarek threw 1.2 scoreless innings and Jack Leathersich and Jeff Walters each added a scoreless inning of their own.  Cesar Puello was 3 for 5, going a triple shy of the cycle with 2 RBI’s.  Danny Muno, Josh Rodriguez, Darrell Ceciliani, and Alonzo Harris all had 2 hits each.  Ceciliani and Richard Lucas both had triples.  Cory Vaughn took home a golden sombrero. Charlotte 7, St. Lucie 4 (Game 1, 7 innings)Angel Cuan let up 3 runs in 5 innings while striking out 6, but then Luis Mateo allowed 4 runs in an inning of work to take the loss in just his 2nd appearance since returning from the DL.  T.J. Rivera and Aderlin Rodriguez both had 2 hits.  Travis Taijeron and Charley Thurber both homered.  Robbie Shields, Matt Reynolds, and Dustin Lawley all doubled. St. Lucie 5, Charlotte 3 (Game 2, 7 innings)Matt Bowman was solid, giving up 3 runs on 5 hits in 5 innings of work.  He struck out just 2 and allowed 2 homeruns.  Travis Taijeron hit 2 solo homers.  Dustin Lawley and Gilbert Gomez each doubled, and Jonathan Clark had 2 hits. Savannah 7, Kannapolis 1Gabriel Ynoa went the distance, allowing just 1 run on 5 hits in 9 innings, with no walks and 4 strikeouts.  Kevin Plawecki had the day off, but both Brandon Nimmo and Jayce Boyd had 2 hits each.  Greg Pron also had 2 hits.  Jeff Reynolds was 3 for 4.  Jeff Glenn doubled and drove in 3 runs.  Cole Frenzel homered and drove in 2 runs.
