Savannah was rained out last night, but everybody else was in action; let’s see how it went:
Las Vegas 8, Memphis 5 (10 innings)
Matt den Dekker hit a 3-run homer off Pedro Feliciano to give the 51s a walk-off win. Logan Verrett threw 8 strong innings, allowing 3 runs (2 earned), striking out 7. Scott Rice blew the save in the 9th, but Chase Bradford threw a scoreless 10th and got the win. The walk-off homer concluded a 4 for 6 day for den Dekker that also included a triple in which he was thrown out going for an inside-the-park homer. Travis d’Arnaud had 1 at bat before being removed and put on a plane to New York.
Binghamton 12, Reading 8
Rainy Lara started but only lasted 3.2 innings, giving up 4 runs on 6 hits. Hamilton Bennett and Jack Leathersich each gave up 2 runs, but Jon Velasquez threw 2 shutout innings to help seal the victory after a B-Mets offensive explosion. Brian Burgamy homered twice, giving him 13 for the season. Dustin Lawley and Travis Taijeorn both homered. Dilson Herrera doubled, walked, drove in a run, and scored 2 runs. Juan Lagares played all 9 innings in center field and went 2 for 4 with a walk and RBI. Brandon Nimmo sat to help make room for Lagares; plus he probably needed a day off.
St. Lucie 5, Jupiter 4

Robert Coles threw 1.2 scoreless innings in relief with Paul Sewald getting the final 2 outs and getting the save. Aderlin Rodriguez had 2 hits and 2 RBI’s. Gilbert Gomez also had 2 hits.
