Highlighting last night on the farm was 2 rehabbing lefties, another homer by Ike Davis, and a dynamite pitching performance by a B-Met.  Let’s take a look: Las Vegas 6, Salt Lake 5Matt Fox scattered 9 hits over 6 innings and only gave up 2 runs.  Jack Leathersich walked 2 and struck out 1 in a scoreless inning.  Justin Hampson tried to give the game away, but Rob Carson got the final 4 outs to pick up the save.  Ike Davis was 2 for 4 with a double and a 2-run homer.  Wilmer Flores was 2 for 4 with 3 RBI’s.  Juan Centeno and Brian Bixler had 2 hits each.  Mike Baxter tripled and walked twice. Binghamton 3, Portland 0Erik Goeddel was fantastic, pitching 7 shutout innings with 6 hits, 1 walk, and 7 strikeouts.  Pedro Feliciano threw a scoreless inning, and Jeff Walters struck out the side in the 9th for his 18th save.  Cesar Puello was 2 for 4 with a double and 2 RBI’s.  Xorge Carillo also had 2 hits and a RBI. Bradenton 6, St. Lucie 4 (12 innings)Alex Panteliodis let up 4 runs on 8 hits over 6 innings.  Tim Byrdak followed with a scoreless inning.  Chasen Bradford and T.J. Chism each threw 2 scoreless innings, but Randy Fontanez let up a 2-run homer in the 12th.  Dustin Lawley was 4 for 6 with a double and 2-run homer.  Kevin Plawecki was 3 for 6.  Jayce Boyd was 2 for 6 with an RBI.  Cam Maron and T.J. Rivera had 2 hits each. Augusta 3, Savannah 2Jake Kuebler took the loss after giving up 3 runs (2 earned) in 5 innings, striking out 2.  Eudy Pina was 2 for 5 with a double.  Phillip Evans was 2 for 3 with a double, and has his average all the way up to .197.  Stefan Sabol hit his 7th homer of the season.  Brandon Nimmo was 0 for 3 with a walk and 2 strikeouts. Brooklyn 3, Hudson Valley 2Robert Gsellman only lasted 4 innings, allowing 2 unearned runs on 6 hits.  Tim Peterson and Christian Chivilli combined for 5 shutout innings out of the bullpen.  Alexander Sanchez was 2 for 4 with a double and RBI.  Gavin Cecchini was 1 for 4 with 1 RBI; he was also charged with an error for interference. Kingsport 3, Bristol 1Chris Flexen (a guy to watch) struck out 6 in 4 innings, while allowing an unearned run on 3 hits and a walk.  Ricardo Jacquez struck out 4 in 2 shutout innings to get the save.  Pedro Perez and Adrian Abreu had 2 hits each.  Abreu tripled, Bradley Marquez doubled, and Jeffrey Diehl homered. GCL Cardinals 6, GCL Mets 0Lenny Rosario let things get away from him, allowing 5 runs in 3.1 innings.  Just 3 hits total for the GCL Mets; Ivan Wilson had 2 singles and Branden Kaupe had a single as well.  Despite the 0-3 start for the GCL Mets, there is a lot of talent on this team, a lot. DSL Mets1 2, DSL Nationals 119-year old Adonis Uceta pitched the final 5 innings, giving up 1 run and striking out 5.  John Mora was 2 for 3 with a double. DSL Yankees2 6, DSL Mets2 218-year old outfielder Enmanuel Zabala was 2 for 4 with a double and triple.
