Both Savannah and Binghamton were rained out last night, although the B-Mets got 2 hitless innings from Darin Gorski before the rains came.  Elsewhere, Rainy Lara had a nice outing, the Cyclones played extra baseball, and Michael Fulmer made his first appearance of 2013.  Let’s take a look: Salt Lake 10, Las Vegas 4Rafael Montero lasted just 3 innings, allowing 4 runs on 5 hits, with 3 walks and 1 strikeout.  Jack Leathersich struck out 2 in a scoreless inning.  Then, tied at 4 in the 9th, Rob Carson let up 6 runs while retiring just one batter.  Ike Davis was 0 for 4 with a walk and strikeout.  Wilmer Flores was 1 for 4 with a homer, 2 RBI’s, and 2 strikeouts.  Mike Baxter, Brian Bixler, Jamie Hoffman, and Brandon Hicks all had 2 hits each. St. Lucie 4, Bradenton 0Rainy Lara threw 5.2 shutout innings in an early morning game, striking out 8 while allowing 5 hits and 2 walks.  Hamilton Bennett recorded the final 7 outs to get the save.  Matt den Dekker was 2 for 3 with a walk and 2 runs scored, but got picked off of first.  Kevin Plawecki, Cam Maron, and Charley Thurber had 2 hits each.  Jayce Boyd was 1 for 3 with a double and RBI, but committed his 2nd error since getting promoted. Hudson Valley 6, Brooklyn 5 (10 innings)Miller Diaz allowed 5 runs (1 earned) over 5 innings, with 2 walks and 7 strikeouts.  Juan Urbina and Shawn Teufel each threw 2 scoreless innings.  Shane Bay let up the game-winning run in the bottom of the 10th.  Jorge Rivero, Jared King, and Anthony Chavez had 2 hits each.  Matt Oberste doubled and drove in 2 runs.  Gavin Cecchini was 0 for 4 with 2 strikeouts. Bristol 9, Kingsport 7Martires Arias had trouble again, allowing 8 runs on 7 hits in 4 innings of work.  Jeffrey Diehl and Yeixon Ruiz each had 2 hits and 1 RBI.  Jeff McNeil and Joe Tuschak each had a triple. GCL Mets 6, GCL Cardinals 1Michael Fulmer made his season debut and threw 6 shutout innings, allowing 3 hits and 1 walk while striking out 6.  In about 5 days he should be ready to make his FSL debut with St. Lucie.  18-year old Jhoan Urena was 3 for 4 with an RBI.  Alex Machillanda was 3 for 4 with 2 RBI’s.  Oswald Caraballo and Wuilmer Becerra had 2 hits each.  Dominic Smith was 1 for 5 with a double. DSL Blue Jays 10, DSL Mets1 618-year old Eucebio Arias allowed 1 run and struck out 6 in 4.2 innings.  Miguel Leal doubled twice and walked thrice.  Ysidro Pierre and Johanny Sierra had 2 hits each. DSL Mets2 4, DSL Phillies 3Enmanuel Zabala was 3 for 5 with 2 doubles.  Victor Moscote had 2 hits.
