There was quite a bit of rain on the farm last night, as the B-Mets got rained out of a suspended game and a regularly scheduled game while the GCL and DSL also had games suspended.  With Vegas having the day off, here’s last night’s abbreviated minor league schedule: St. Lucie 7, Palm Beach 4Domingo Tapia was better, allowing 3 runs on 6 hits over 5 innings, walking 3 and striking out 6.  Tim Byrdak struck out 1 and threw a hitless inning to get the save.  Kevin Plawecki was 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and 3 RBI’s.  Dustin Lawley was 2 for 4 with a 2-run homer.  Matt den Dekker was 1 for 4 with a double, his first extra-base hit since beginning his rehab. Savannah 5, Augusta 1Gabriel Ynoa let up just 1 run on 5 hits over 6 innings, walking none and striking out 4.  Paul Seward threw 2 hitless innings.  Cole Frenzel was 2 for 4 with a double.  Chad Zurcher was 2 for 4 with 2 RBI’s.  Stefan Sabol and Jeff Glenn also doubled.  Brandon Nimmo was 0 for 5 with 2 strikeouts; he has 2 hits and 11 strikeouts in his last 6 games. Aberdeen 3, Brooklyn 0 (8 innings)Rain ended this game a little bit early.  John Gant took the loss after giving up 3 runs in 6 innings, but he walked none and struck out 10.  Ricky Knapp (8th round) made his pro debut and threw a scoreless inning.  Anthony Chavez had the only hit for the Cyclones. Greeneville 5, Kingsport 3Robert Whalen struck out 8 in 6 innings, allowing just 1 run on 4 hits.  Ty Bashlor (11th round) made his pro debut and has an ERA of infinity after allowing a 2-run homer in the bottom of the 9th without recording an out.  Jonathan Leroux was 2 for 4 with a double and homer.  Champ Stuart hit his second triple of the season.  Jeyckol De Leon was 2 for 4 with a double.
