There was an injury update on Travis d’Arnaud yesterday, as his foot will remain in a boot as a precaution while he starts light rehab activities, so he’s on his way back but not all that close to playing in games.  Now onto last night’s games, which were few and far between with Binghamton and Savannah having off days. Las Vegas 8, Fresno 0Carlos Torres threw a complete game shutout, allowing just 3 hits and no walks with 11 strikeouts.  It was the second shutout by Vegas in the last 4 games; and over the last 6 games Vegas has allowed just 5 runs.  Eric Cambpell was 3 for 4 with a 3-run homer.  Francisco Pena was 2 for 4 with a double and 3 RBI’s.  Wilmer Flores was 2 for 5 with 2 runs scored. Lakeland 2, St. Lucie 1Noah Syndergaard took the tough-luck loss after giving up 2 runs on 6 hits over 5 innings, with no walks and 5 strikeouts.  Travis Taijeron was 3 for 4, hitting his 4th homer in the past 2 days and his 5th homer in 5 games.  T.J. Rivera and Robbie Shields both doubled. DSL Mets1 5, DSL Rojos 418-year old Jose Mendez threw 5 shutout innings, striking out 5.  Luis Ortega drove in 3 runs.  Johanny Sierra doubled and drove in 2 runs. DSL Marlins 4, DSL Mets2 0Mets hitters combined for 3 hits and 16 strikeouts in this one.
