Noah Syndergaard, Kevin Plawecki, and Brandon Nimmo highlight Sunday afternoon on the farm. Let’s take a look: Las Vegas 4, Tacoma 1Matt Fox threw 6 shutout innings, allowing just 3 hits. Rob Carson and Greg Burke each got 4 outs without allowing a run. Ike Davis was 1 for 3 with a walk and 2 runs scored; he also managed not to get ejected. Eric Campbell was 2 for 3 with a double and 2 RBI’s. Wilmer Flores was 1 for 4. Binghamton 5, Trenton 4The B-Mets scored 4 runs over Yankees pitcher Michael Pineda in 3 innings. Cesar Puello and Richard Lucas each homered off Pineda. Puello ended up going 2 for 4 with 3 RBI’s. Meanwhile, Noah Syndergaard gave up a homer to the first batter he faced, and then pitched 5 shutout innings, allowing 4 hits and 2 walks while striking out 9. Jim Fuller gave up 3 runs to give up the lead, but got the win. Ryan Fraser, Pedro Feliciano, and Jeff Walters all threw a scoreless inning to close out the game. Feliciano has tossed 5.2 scoreless innings in 6 appearances for the B-Mets. Fort Myers 4, St. Lucie 1 (6 innings)Rain ended this one a few innings early due to rain. Rainy Lara took the loss after allowing 3 runs (2 earned) on 6 hits in 5 innings, walking 1 and striking out 4. T.J. Rivera was 2 for 3 with a double. Matt den Dekker also doubled, and he is reportedly on his way to Vegas. Kevin Plawecki was back behind the plate after missing a couple days with a minor injury. Savannah 2, Rome 1 (10 innings)Cole Frenzel singled home Phillip Evans in the bottom of the 10th to give the Gnats a walk-off win. Frenzel singled after striking out in his previous 4 at bats. Nelfi Zapta and Eudy Pina had 2 hits each. Brandon Nimmo was 3 for 5 with a run scored. Luis Cessa surrendered 1 run over 6.2 innings, but struck out just 3. Paul Sewald struck out 3 in 2.1 scoreless innings. Beck Wheeler got the win after pitching a scoreless inning. Hudson Valley 1, Brooklyn 0 (11 innings)Robert Gsellman threw 8 shutout innings, with 4 hits, no walks, and 4 strikeouts. After 2 shutout innings, John Mincone gave up a run in the bottom of the 11th. Jorge Rivero was 2 for 4 with a double. The Cyclones had just 5 hits in 11 innings. Gavin Cecchini was 1 for 4. Elizabethton 5, Kingsport 1Chris Flexen lasted just 4 innings, allowing 5 runs on 7 hits, including 3 homers. Just 5 hits for the K-Mets, who struck out 12 times.
