It was another rough night throughout the organization, especially on the farm.  Let’s take a look:


Fresno 9, Las Vegas 4


Noah Syndergaard hurt his left shoulder diving to make a tag at home plate, forcing him out of the game 2 outs into the first inning; he gave up 3 runs on 3 hits.  Precautionary x-rays were taken, and results are currently pending.  Giancarlo Alvarado followed and gave up 4 runs on 8 hits over 5.1 innings.  Kirk Nieuwenhuis was 2 for 3 with a solo homer.  Josh Satin and Danny Muno also homered, but 4 runs on 3 homers was the extent of the Vegas offense.


Altoona 8, Binghamton 5


Angel Cuan allowed 7 runs (4 earned) in 3 innings.  Matt Reynolds was 3 for 5 with an RBI.  Kevin Plawecki and Kyle Johnson both doubled.


Dunedin 7, St. Lucie 4


Matt Koch struck out 6 in 5 innings, but he let up 5 runs on 9 hits and took the loss.  Jairo Perez was 2 for 4 with a double, homer, and 2 RBI’s.  Eudy Pina was 2 for 3 with a homer.  T.J. Rivera had 3 hits.  Brandon Nimmo was 0 for 3 with a walk and 2 strikeouts.


Charleston 5, Savannah 1


Miller Diaz suffered his first loss of the season, allowing 5 runs on 4 hits over 6.2 innings, walking 3 and striking out 6.  L.J. Mazzilli was 3 for 4 with a double, RBI, and stolen base.  Gavin Cecchini, Dominic Smith, and Amed Rosario were all 0 for 4.
