Just like the Mets, both St. Lucie and Savannah played 2 games yesterday, so there’s a lot to get to.  Let’s get it started: Tacoma 11, Las Vegas 0Matt Fox let up 8 runs on 8 hits in 4 innings.  Gonzalez Germen gave up 3 more in 1 inning of work.  Collin Cowgill and Jamie Hoffman had 2 hits each. Binghamton 9, Altoona 3Rafael Montero was sharp, to say the least, giving up 2 hits and 1 walk in 7 shutout innings while striking out 6.  Ryan Fraser gave up 3 runs (1 earned) in the 9th inning.  Cesar Puello was 3 for 5 with a homer and 4 RBI’s; he has 6 homers in his last 6 games.  In his AA debut, Travis Taijeron was 3 for 5 with a double and a 2-run homer.  Taijeron was called up because Cory Vaughn went on the DL with an elbow injury.  Darrell Ceciliani did not play after leaving Friday night’s game, possibly with an injury.  The first place B-Mets have now won 6 of their last 7. Jupiter 2, St. Lucie 1 (Game 1, 9 innings)Domingo Tapia started and gave up 1 run (a solo homer) in 6 innings of work, with 1 walk and 5 strikeouts.  Chasen Bradford let up the game-winning run in the bottom of the 9th.  Aderlin Rodriguez had 2 hits, but the Lucies were only able to manage 8 singles and scratch out 1 run.  With the loss, St. Lucie is officially eliminated from playoff contention for the first half of the season. Game 2 was suspended after 7 innings with the teams tied at 1.  Angel Cuan threw 5 innings, allowing 1 run and striking out 4.  Jim Fuller struck out 4 in 2 scoreless frames.  Just 3 hits in the game for the Lucies, all singles.  They’ll try to finish up the game today. Savannah 4, Rome 1 (Game 1, 7 innings)Jake Keubler got the start and let up 1 run on 3 hits over 5 innings.  Paul Sewald threw 2 shutout innings to get the save.  Stefan Sabol was 2 for 3 with a 3-run homer.  Brandon Nimmo was 1 for 4 with 3 strikeouts.  Kevin Plawecki was 0 for 2 with a walk and 2 runs scored. Rome 3, Savannah 0 (Game 2, 7 innings)Steven Matz is back from the DL, but took the loss after allowing 2 runs on 3 hits in 4 innings, walking 1 and striking out 1.  Julian Hilario struck out 3, but let up a run in 2 innings of work.  Eudy Pina doubled, while Brandon Nimmo and Jeff Glenn singled to provide the Gnats with their only 3 hits of the game. DSL Pirates2 10, DSL Mets1 1After 3 straight wins to start the season, this Mets team has lost 4 in a row.  20-year old outfielder John Mora had 2 hits and is hitting .350 early on. DSL Mets2 5, DSL Phillies 219-year old Wimbert Martinez threw 4 shutout innings in relief, allowing just 1 hit and striking out 6.  18-year old outfielder Santos Infante homered.
