Just a lazy Sunday afternoon on the farm:Pawtucket 4, Buffalo 3After 4 straight solid outings, Dylan Owen took a small step back letting up 4 runs on 5 hits, including 3 homeruns.  Jack Egbert pitched a perfect inning as he moves, perhaps only temporarily, out of the rotation and into the bullpen.  Zach Lutz had 2 hits, although some of that gets negated by also striking out 3 times.  Fernando Martinez was 1-2 with a pair of walks.Binghamton 9, New Britain 4Check this out!  Brad Holt picks up the win after 2 shutout innings in relief of Colin McHugh, who lasted only 4 innings, giving up 4 runs but striking out 6.  Josh Stinson also had 2 shutout innings of relief, and Rhiner Cruz struck out 2 but allowed 3 base runners in a scoreless 9th.  Matt Den Dekker had 2 hits, including a double, 3 walks, and 4 runs scored, being the catalyst for the B-Mets at the top of their lineup.  Jordanny Valdespin and Josh Satin followed with 2 doubles each, and Allan Dykstra drove in 3 runs from the clean up spot.  If Reese Havens can get healthy, Wally Backman could have a nice looking lineup for at least 5 or 6 batters deep.St. Lucie 6, Tampa 5Armando Rodriguez cruised through 4 innings, but ran into trouble in the 5th, giving up 4 runs on 3 hits and 3 walks, although he did strike out 7.  Josh Edgin blew the save giving up his first run in the FSL in 14 innings.  Eric Niesen got the win after pitching a scoreless 10th.  Cory Vaughn was 3-5 with a double and is hitting .353 after 15 games in the FSL.  Dimas Ponce had 3 hits and 2 RBI’s after getting a promotion straight from the GCL to the FSL.  Pedro Zapata, Francisco Pena, and Rylan Sandoval all chipped in 2 hits apiece.Greensboro 3, Savannah 1Ryan Fraser looked real good for 7 innings, surrendering just an unearned run on 4 hits, with 5 strikeouts.  Ronny Morla took the loss after giving up 2 runs in the 9th.  Aderlin Rodriguez had 2 hits and broke his long homerun drought that dated all the way back to May.Connecticut 2, Brooklyn 1Last year’s 7th rounder Jeffrey Walters takes the tough luck loss after letting up 2 runs in 5 innings.  Javier Rodriguez had 2 hits, but just 7 singles for the Cyclones wasn’t enough to generate much offense.Kingsport 11, Princeton 2Domingo Tapia put together a nice outing; really his 3rd solid performance in 4 starts.  He went 5 innings giving up 2 runs (1 earned) on 5 hits and 2 walks, but just had a single strikeout.  Four different relievers gave up just 1 hit the rest of the way to secure the win for Tapia.  Six different players had multi-hit games.  Lucas Stewart doubled 3 times and drove in 2 runs as he is off to a good start with the K-Mets after starting the year in Brooklyn and struggling.  Bronx native T.J. Rivera was 2-4 with a homer and 4 RBI’s.GCL Mets 9, GCL Nationals 1Gabriel Ynoa had a nice 5-inning outing, giving up just 1 run on 3 hits.  The bullpen had 4 hitless innings to follow.  Shortstop Randoll Santana was 2-5 including a solo homerun.  Ariel Mercedes was 2-4 with a double and 2 RBI’s.U.S. Futures 6, World Futures 4Jefry Marte struck out in his only at bat, but you expect teenagers to be outmatched in an all-star game like this.  Matt Harvey recorded the final out of the game and got the save.
