Savannah and Kingsport’s double-header were both rained out last night, so we’re a little lighter on games today.  Also, Estarlin Morel has hit with a 25-game suspension, but that’s no big deal.  Now, onto the games: Tucson 6, Las Vegas 0 (Game 1, 7 innings)D.J. Mitchell made a spot start and showed everyone why he was removed from the rotation, lasting 3.1 inning and giving up 3 runs.  John Chuch made his AAA debut and threw 1.2 scoreless innings despite allowing 4 hits and 1 walk.  Jack Leathersich walked 4 and gave up 3 unearned runs without allowing a hit.  Wilmer Flores went hitless, as Vegas managed just 4 singles. Tucson 5, Las Vegas 4 (Game 2, 8 innings)Chris Schwinden gave up 4 runs in 6 innings, and then Rob Carson gave up the game-winning run in the 8th to take the loss.  Eric Campbell was 3 for 4 with a double and homer.  Francisco Pena also had 3 hits.  Ruben Tejada, Rylan Sandoval, and Jamie Hoffman had 2 hits each. Portland 8, Binghamton 5 (15 innings)Mark Cohoon got pounded for 5 runs on 13 hits over 16 innings.  Adam Kolarek, Pedro Feliciano, and Chase Huchingson all threw 2 scoreless innings.  Chasen Bradford allowed 3 unearned runs in 2.2 innings, and when Bradford couldn’t go any longer Joe Bonfe came in to get the last out of the 15th.  Cesar Puello was 4 for 7 with 3 RBI’s.  Danny Muno had 3 hits.  Darrell Ceciliani, Alonzo Harris, and Wilfredo Tovar had 2 hits each. St. Lucie 3, Dunedin 0Alex Panteliodis pitched a gem, throwing 7.1 scoreless innings.  Tim Byrdak walked 1 but pitched a hitless 9th to earn his 3rd save for the Lucies.  T.J. Rivera and Kevin Plawecki had 2 hits each.  Plawecki started the game at first base, as Jayce Boyd continues to DH.  Melky Cabrera was 1 for 4 with 2 strikeouts while rehabbing with Dunedin. Auburn 4, Brooklyn 3Robert Gsellman let up 3 runs on 7 hits over 5.1 innings, but he struck out 6, walked 1, and hit 2 batters.  Ricky Knapp ultimately let up the game winner in the bottom of the 9th.  L.J. Mazzilli, Matt Oberste, and Tomas Nido had 2 hits each.  Oberste’s 2 hits were both doubles. GCL Nationals 7, GCL Mets 0Frank Francisco started and gave up an unearned run on 1 hit with 1 strikeout, and that gave him the loss after the Mets managed just 3 hits.  One of those hits was a double by Cory Vaughn, who played his second rehab game in the GCL.  Dominic Smith left the game early with dehydration.
