St. Lucie and Kingsport were causalities of the rain out yesterday, but everybody else was in action, so let’s take a look: Las Vegas 6, Tucson 2Wilmer Flores grounded out to drive in a run in the 1st inning, but then left the game with an apparent ankle injury; he also was in the lineup at first base, which has become a trend.  Ruben Tejada, Zach Lutz, Brandon Hicks, and Matt den Dekker all had 2 hits.  This concludes the first half for Las Vegas, who is 49-46 and is in second place in the PCL Pacific Southern Division, 2.5 games behind Tucson.  Flores is the lone all-star for Vegas, but with his ankle injury who knows if he will play or not.  That game is Wednesday in Reno, and the 51s will start the second half Thursday in Reno. Binghamton 5, Portland 2 (Game 1, 7 innings)The B-Mets put up a 5-spot in the 1st inning, capped by a 3-run double by Wilfredo Tovar, and that was all they needed.  Darin Gorski let up 2 runs on 3 hits and 3 walks over 6 innings, striking out 6, and then Jeff Walters notched his 24th save of the season. Binghamton 6, Portland 0 (Game 2, 7 innings)Jenrry Mejia (yup, that guy) threw 5 shutout innings, striking out just 1, but only allowing 3 hits and 2 walks.  Hamilton Bennett struck out 3 in 2 shutout innings in his AA debut.  Darrell Ceciliani was 2 for 3 with a 2-run homer.  Ceciliani played centerfield and batted leadoff, and now has his average up to .277.  Travis Taijeron doubled and drove in 2 runs.  This was the second time in three days that the B-Mets swept a double-header against Portland.  Binghamton is starting to run away with the Eastern League East Division. Savannah 1, Greenville 1 (suspended in 5th)Rain suspended this game, but not before Steven Matz struck out 8 in 5 innings, while allowing 1 run on 2 hits and 2 walks. Brooklyn 2, Connecticut 1Anthony Chavez doubled in the top of the 9th to drive in James Roche with the go ahead run.  John Mincone got the final 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th to get the save.  Miller Diaz started and gave up 1 run on 2 hits and 3 walks over 6 innings, striking out 7.  Cristian Chivilli threw 2.1 scoreless innings in relief.  Chavez, Patrick Biondi, L.J. Mazzilli, and Alex Sanchez had 2 hits each. GCL Nationals 6, GCL Mets 4Gaby Almonte started and allowed 2 runs on 8 hits over 5.1 innings, striking out 5.  Andrew Church relieved him for 1.2 innings, allowing 2 runs on 5 hits with 2 strikeouts.  Luis Guillorme, Ivan Wilson, Vicente Lupo. Jean Rodriguez, Alex Machillanda and rehabbing Cory Vaughn all had 2 hits each.  Wilson doubled and drove in 2 runs.  Lupo tripled.  Justin Turner played DH, going 0 for 4 with a walk and 2 strikeouts.
