Just in case you were wondering why there was no minor league report yesterday, Binghamton was the only affiliate in action Tuesday night, so I decided to take my own little all-star break.  But now I’m back with almost a full slate.  Kingsport had a double-header rained out, and the AAA all-star game went on sans Wilmer Flores or any Mets prospect and Flores was a late scratch with a sprained ankle, but everyone else was in action, so let’s get to it: Richmond 6, Binghamton 5Noah Syndergaard made the start fresh off his performance in the Futures Game.  He let up 3 runs on 7 hits over 5 innings, giving up 2 homeruns in addition to 3 walks and 5 strikeouts.  Jim Fuller walked 3 and gave up 3 runs without recording an out, taking the loss despite 2 scoreless frames from Adam Kolarek and 1 shutout inning from Pedro Feliciano and Jeff Walters.  Justin Turner was 2 for 5 with 2 doubles.  Cesar Puello was 1 for 2 with a walk and his 16th homer of the season.  Travis Taijeron doubled.  Wilfredo Tovar and Rhyne Hughes had 2 hits each. St. Lucie 9, Brevard County 3Hansel Robles continues to be mediocre, giving up 3 runs on 7 hits over 5.2 innings, with no walks and 4 strikeouts.  Randy Fontanez struck out 5 in 2.1 hitless innings.  Dustin Lawley was 3 for 5 with a double and 2 RBI’s.  T.J. Rivera and Gilbert Gomez had 2 hits each.  Kyle Johnson doubled and drove in 3 runs.  Jayce Boyd also doubled.  Kevin Plawecki walked twice. West Virginia 8, Savannah 1Gabriel Ynoa struck out 8 in 5 innings, but he gave up 10 hits and 6 runs (3 earned).  Stefan Sabol was 2 for 5 with a double and triple.  Brandon Nimmo was 0 for 4 with a walk and strikeout. Brooklyn 7, Mahoning Valley 5Seth Lugo let up 2 runs on 5 hits in 5.1 innings to get the win.  Kevin McGowan got the save despite giving up 3 runs in 3 innings of work.  L.J. Mazzilli was 3 for 4 with a double and 2 RBI’s; little Mazz is all of a sudden hitting .315.  Juan Carlos Gamboa homered.  Alex Sanchez had 2 hits; Patrick Biondi doubled. GCL Cardinals 6, GCL Mets 5 (12 innings)Dominic Smith hit his 2nd professional homerun; he also struck out twice and is hitting .203.  Cory Vaughn was 0 for 4 with 2 walks and 4 strikeouts; he has 3 hits in 20 at bats during his rehab.
