Greetings from the wilds of Connecticut.  It’s eyeball meltingly hot here too, if it’s any consolation. This is the first of several remote LNotF’s this week. Pawtucket 4, Buffalo 2 JOSH Satin was 1 for 4 and played third base in his debut for the Herd.  Rueben Tejada took the collar, going 0 for 5.  The Mets did make an interesting acquisition, claiming Mike Price off of waivers form the Padres. Expect to see the 25 year old outfielder in Buffalo soon. Reading 5, Binghamton 2 Though the B-Mets fell, Brad Holt had a flawless inning of relief and Matt den Dekker had a 2 run home run.  However, Jordanny Valdespin and Reese Havens both went hitless. St Lucie @ Brevard County, PPD (rain) Savannah 3, West Virginia 1 Yohan Almonte had a strong outing, going 7 innings and giving up just one unearned run on5 hits and a walk while striking out 4.  Alonzo Harris was the hitting star, going 2 for three with an inside the park homer and knocking in all three Sand Gnat runs. Brooklyn 11, Aberdeen 1 The hit parade on the Coney Island Boardwalk continues.  Danny Muno went 4 for 5 with 2 RBOI and 3 runs scored.  Brian Harrison went 1 for 4 with a two run homer. Kingsport 11, Johnson City 8 Congratulations Juan Urbina on your first professional win (I’m not counting GCL stats).  The spawn of Ugeth went a solid 5iinigs, giving up two runs of four hits while walking only one and striking out six.  Here’s to many more.  Not to be outshone, 1B Luke Stewart went 2 for 3 with a grand slam and six (!) RBI.
