The farm was a little better last night going 3-3, including another gem by Jacob DeGrom and another stinker by Akeel Morris.Louisville 4, Buffalo 1Chris Schwinden only lasted 4.2 innings but he gave up just 1 run on 6 hits with no walks and 5 strikeouts.  Despite uncorking a wild pitch Jenrry Mejia threw 1.1 scoreless innings.  It was his 3rd straight scoreless outing.  Mike Baxter was 2 for 3 with an RBI while playing left field.  Adam Loewen and Lucas May also had 2 hits each.  Matt Den Dekker was 0 for 3 with 2 strikeouts.Binghamton 4, New Britain 3Mark Cohoon had a solid outing, as he makes a bid for a promotion back to AAA.  He let up 3 runs on 5 hits over 7.1 innings.  Brad Holt and Robert Carson took it the rest of the way to secure the win for the B-Mets.  Eric Campbell was 2 for 3 with a solo homer.  Wilfredo Tovar hit a 3-run double.St. Lucie 7, Bradenton 5Rafael Montero was a little hittable, letting up 3 runs (2 earned) on 8 hits in 5.2 innings, but he struck out 4 and got the win.  Adam Kolarek got his 15th save for St. Lucie despite giving up a run in 2 innings of work.  T.J. Rivera had 3 hits and 2 RBI’s.  Cory Vaughn was 2 for 3 with a double and an RBI.  Cesar Puello was 1 for 1 before leaving the game (I don’t know why, but the last thing that guy needs is another injury).Savannah 8, Kannapolis 1Jacob DeGrom picked up his 6th win of the season after 6 strong innings, allowing just 1 run on 5 hits while striking out 9.  Carlos Vazquez pitched 3 shutout innings to get the save.  Gilbert Gomez, Dustin Lawley, and Albert Cordero all had 2 hits.  Lawley hit 2 homers and drove in 4 runs.  Cam Maron also homered, his 4th of the season.Aberdeen 6, Brooklyn 3Rainy Lara struck out 6 in 6 innings, allowing just 2 runs on 5 hits, but got the no decision after Tim Peterson gave up 3 runs in .2 innings and took the loss.  Brandon Nimmo and Stefan Sabol both had RBI doubles.  Phillip Evans, Kevin Plawecki, and Eudy Pina all had singles, but those were the only 5 Brooklyn hits.Elizabethton 12, Kingsport 5It was yet another disaster for Akeel Morris, who lasted 2 plus innings and gave up 10 runs on 5 hits and 5 walks, striking out 3.  Tomas Nido had a 2-hit game for the 3rd consecutive game.  Gavin Cecchini suffered some kind of leg injury after stealing 2nd base in the 4th inning and left the game.
