Plenty of pitching on the farm last night, as there was 3 shutouts pitched by the Mets.  Let’s have a look: Sacramento 9, Las Vegas 3Chris Schwinden let up 3 runs in 4 innings, John Church gave up 2 runs, and Rob Carson gave up 4.  Jordany Valdespin was 4 for 4 with a double and 3 RBI’s.  Wilmer Flores was back in the lineup as the DH, going 1 for 4 with 2 strikeouts.  Ruben Tejada was 0 for 2, ending his 12-game hit streak. Trenton 4, Binghamton 1 (Game 1, 7 innings)Erik Goeddel couldn’t get out of the 5th inning, allowing 4 runs on 6 hits with 4 walks and 4 strikeouts.  Alonzo Harris doubled, as the B-Mets managed just 4 hits. Binghamton 4, Trenton 1 (Game 2, 7 innings)Greg Peavey made the spot start fresh off a demotion, allowing 1 run over 4 innings.  Armando Rodriguez struck out 4 in 2 shutout innings and Jeff Walters set a new B-Mets record with his 29th save of the season.  Richard Lucas hit a grand slam to provide all 4 runs. St. Lucie 5, Dunedin 1 (Game 1, 7 innings)Matt Bowman threw 6 shutout innings, striking out 4.  T.J. Rivera, Jayce Boyd, and Dustin Lawley all doubled.  Boyd and Lawley had 2 RBI’s each. St. Lucie 2, Lakeland 0 (Game 2, 9 innings)Hansel Robles threw 5.2 shutout innings, allowing 4 hits and striking out 4.  Hamilton Bennett got the win after throwing 1.1 scoreless innings.  Cory Vaughn was 2 for 3 with 1 RBI. Savannah 9, Augusta 4Gabriel Ynoa scattered 10 hits and allowed 4 runs in 5 innings, but got the win.  Jorge Rivero, Maikis De La Cruz, Stefan Sabol, and Jeff Reynolds all had 2 hits each.  Phillip Evans was 3 for 5.  Rivero, De La Cruz, Sabol, Albert Cordero, and Eudy Pina all doubled.  Brandon Nimmo was 1 for 5 with 3 strikeouts. Brooklyn 2, Staten Island 0Robert Gsellman allowed 2 hits in 7 shutout innings, striking out 5.  Ricky Knapp threw 2 scoreless innings for the save.  Edward Rohan was 2 for 3 with a double, homer, and 2 RBI’s. Kingsport 7, Bristol 0Yoan Gonzalez threw 7 shutout innings, allowing 3 hits and 4 walks while striking out 5.  Jeff McNeil was 3 for 5 with a triple.  Joe Tuschak was 2 for 4 with a homer and 2 RBI’s.  Amed Rosario hit a 3-run homer, his 3rd of the season. GCL Mets 5, GCL Nationals 4This is more like it from second round pick Andrew Church, who threw 5 shutout innings, allowing just 2 hits and 1 walk while striking out 4.  Dan Herrmann threw 2.1 innings, allowing 1 unearned run.  Travis d’Arnaud caught all 9 innings and was 1 for 4; he’s 3 for 10 in 3 GCL games.  Lucas Duda was the DH and went 0 for 4 with 3 strikeouts; he’s hitless in 3 GCL games.  Jhoan Urena was 2 for 3; he’s hitting over .300.  Wuilmer Becerra was 1 for 2 with 2 walks.
