It was a sluggish day offensively throughout Mets land, except for Vegas of course, and the youngsters down in Kingsport.  Let’s check it out: Las Vegas 13, Sacramento 4 (7 innings)Wind kept Vegas from playing its regularly scheduled game, but they were able to finish a game from earlier in the season that was stopped after 2 batters.  This game was started so long ago that Collin Cowgill, Josh Satin, Reese Havens, and Omar Quintanilla were in the starting lineup and needed to be immediately replaced.  Kirk Nieuwenhuis was also in the starting lineup originally, and was demoted just in time.  Tejada went 4 for 4 with a double.  Wilmer Flores was 3 for 4 with 2 homers and 3 RBI’s.  Valdespin was 2 for 5 with a triple and 2 RBI’s.  Jacob deGrom took over the pitching and allowed 4 runs on 7 hits in 4 innings, walking 2 and striking out 6.  Sean Henn got the win after pitching 2 shutout innings. Trenton 1, Binghamton 0 (Game 1, 7 innings)Logan Verrett struck out 7 in 5 innings, but took the loss despite giving up 1 run on 3 hits.  Chase Huchingson threw 2 shutout innings.  The B-Mets managed just 4 singles. Binghamton 6, Trenton 1 (Game 2, 7 innings)Noah Syndergaard gave up 1 hit (a homerun) in 6 innings, walking none and striking out 8.  Cesar Puello was 3 for 4 with a double, RBI, and 2 runs scored.  Rhyne Hughes was 3 for 4 with 3 doubles and 3 RBI’s.  Travis Taijeron doubled, walked twice, and drove in a run. Lakeland 3, St. Lucie 0Michael Fulmer allowed 1 run on 7 hits through 6.1 innings, walking 2 and striking out 3.  Fulmer took the loss after the Lucies managed just 1 hit. Augusta 6, Savannah 1Julian Hilario made the spot start, allowing 4 runs in 4 innings.  Jorge Rivero was 2 for 4 with 2 doubles.  Brian Harrison also doubled.  Brandon Nimmo was 0 for 2 with 2 walks. Brooklyn 4, Hudson Valley 2John Gant struck out 7, walked none, and allowed 2 runs on 6 hits in 6 innings of work.  Tim Peterson struck out the side in the 7th, and John Mincone and Johnny Magliozzi each threw a scoreless inning out of the bullpen.  Jared King was 2 for 3 with a double and RBI.  Alex Sanchez was 2 for 3 with a double and homer. Kingsport 9, Bristol 2Robert Whalen struck out 7, allowing 2 runs (1 earned) on 3 hits and 2 walks over 6 innings.  Yeixon Ruiz, Victor Cruzado, and Joe Tuschak all had 3 hits; Tuschak was a homer shy of the cycle.  Brad Marquez was 2 for 4 with a double and RBI.  Richie Rodriguez had 2 doubles and 2 RBI’s.  Amed Rosario also doubled.
