A winning day on the farm: Buffalo 7, Lehigh Valley 1Pat Misch looked good for 7 shutout innings, giving up just 3 hits, while Brian Sweeney finished it off.  Fernando Martinez had 2 hits.  Josh Satin doubled.  Old friend Aaron Heilman gave up 2 runs in the bottom of the 6th on a Luis Figueroa single. Binghamton 5, Harrisburg 2Collin McHugh was solid yet again with 5 strikeouts in 5 innings, giving up just 1 run on 3 hits.  Jack Egbert finished out the final 4 innings, with 5 strikeouts of his own.  Juan Lagares continues to tear it up, going 3-4 with an RBI.  Michael Fisher, Jordany Valdespin, and Raul Reyes all tripled. Dunedin 8, St. Lucie 1Scott Moviel suffered his 9th loss of the year, giving up 3 runs in 5 innings on 9 hits.  Brandon Sage gave up 3 runs and recorded just 1 out to put the game out of reach.  Pedro Zapata had 3 hits.  Wilmer Flores had 2 hits, including a double and an RBI. Savannah 13, Greensboro 1Gonzalez Germen was impressive yet again, giving up just 1 run on 1 hit and 2 walks through 5 innings, striking out 7.  He has 16 strikeouts in his last 10 innings.  Chase Huchingson struck out 3 in a pair of scoreless innings.  Alonzo Harris was 5-5 with 3 runs scored and 2 doubles.  Aderlin Rodriguez was 3-4 with 4 RBI’s, including a 3-run homer, his 13th of the year.  Blake Forsythe and Albert Cordero both had 2 hits. Brooklyn 4, Vermont 1 (game 1)Cory Mazzoni started, pitched 1 inning, and struck out the side.  Tyson Seng got the win with 3 shutout innings and 6 strikeouts.  Michael Weldon got the save with 2 scoreless frames and 3 strikeouts.  Travis Taijeron was 2-3 with a homerun, his 7th of the season. Vermont 5, Brooklyn 4 (game 2)The Cyclones committed 2 errors, with led to 3 unearned runs, which was the difference in the game.  Ismael Tijerina and Chase Greene had 2 hits each.  Nelfi Zapata was 1-3 with 2 RBI’s. Kingsport 3, Bluefield 1Brett Mitchell pitched 8 innings, giving up 1 run on 3 hits to get his 5th win of the season.  Lucas Stewart, Julio Concepcion, and Camden Maron all had 2 hits.  Dustin Lawley homered for the 4th time this year.
