While the Mets were playing until who knows what hour on the east coast, this happened on the farm: Salt Lake 7, Las Vegas 1Giancarlo Alvarado only lasted 1.2 innings, giving up 1 run on 4 hits.  Greg Peavey gave up 2 runs in 3 innings, and Jack Leathersich gave up 3 runs while recording just 1 out.  Ruben Tejada and Matt den Dekker had 2 hits, including a double.  Mike Baxter also doubled. New Hampshire 7, Binghamton 6Darin Gorski was good, but only lasted 4.2 innings, allowing 1 run on 1 hit with 6 strikeouts.  John Church and Pedro Feliciano combined to give up 5 runs in the 8th inning to cost the B-Mets the game.  Darrell Ceciliani was 2 for 3 with a double, homer, and 2 RBi’s.  Richard Lucas also homered.  Cesar Puello was 1 for 3 with a walk.  That concludes the first half of the season for the B-Mets.  They are currently 53-33 and 8.5 games ahead of second place Portland.  Cesar Puello, Allan Dykstra, Josh Rodriguez, Logan Verrett, and Jeff Walters will play in the Eastern League All-Star Game Wednesday, and then the B-Mets will play 6 games in 4 days against Portland starting Thursday. St. Lucie 5, Fort Myers 3Rainy Lara allowed 3 runs on 5 hits over 5 innings, walking 5 and striking out just 1.  Tim Byrdak threw a scoreless inning.  Bret Mitchell threw 1.2 hitless innings and T.J. Chism got the final out to earn the save.  Kyle Johnson was 3 for 4 with 3 runs scored.  Dustin Lawley and Robbie Shields had 2 hits each.  The Lucies benefited from 4 Fort Myers errors. Brooklyn 4, Lowell 3John Gant had an odd night: he allowed 1 hit and 2 unearned runs, walking 5 and striking out 7.  Jared King doubled twice.  Colton Piaia and James Roche also had doubles.  Roche had 2 hits and drove in 2 runs. Greeneville 3, Kingsport 2Marties Arias pitched 7 innings, allowing just 3 runs (1 earned) with 3 strikeouts.  Victor Cruzado was 3 for 3 with a homer; he’s hitting .409. GCL Mets 5, GCL Marlins 3 (Game 1, 7 innings)Luis Guillorme and Leon Canelon had 3 hits each.  Canelon doubled and drove in 3 runs. GCL Marlins 5, GCL Mets 2 (Game 2, 7 innings)Scott Atchison gave up 1 run but struck out 2 in 1 inning of work.  Dan Hermann let up 4 runs in 2 innings, but Lenny Rosario threw 3 shutout innings.  Luis Guillorme, Wuilmer Becerra, and Oswald Caraballo had 2 hits each.
