Last night on the farm, Binghamton was rained out, Brooklyn played a double-header, and one team’s winning streak came to an end.


Las Vegas 6, Reno 2


Logan Verrett let up 2 runs on 6 hits over 6 innings to pick up his 7th win of the season.  Matt den Dekker, Mat Reynolds, Josh Satin, and Anthony Seratelli all had 2 hits.  Cory Vaughn hit a pinch-hit 3-run homer.


Bradenton 11, St. Lucie 5


Michael Fulmer got roughed up for 6 runs (3 earned) on 10 hits over 6 innings.  Julian Hilario gave up 5 more runs over 1.2 innings.  Eudy Pina and Gilbert Gomez each had 2 hits.  L.J. Mazzilli and Maikis De La Cruz both doubled.  Gavin Cecchini was 0 for 3, but he walked, scored a run, and had an RBI.


Augusta 6, Savannah 4


Alex Panteliodis went 7.2 innings, giving up 4 runs on 7 hits with 5 strikeouts, but Dawrin Frias let up 2 runs in the 9th to take the loss.  Dominic Smith was 2 for 4 with a double.  Nelfi Zapata doubled twice and Matt Oberste had 2 hits.  The loss snapped an 11-game win streak for the Gnats.


Brooklyn 3, Hudson Valley 0 (Game 1, 7 innings)


Marcos Molina threw 5 shutout innings, allowing 1 hit and 3 walks while striking out 6.  Josh Prevost finished the game with 2 shutout innings.  Michael Katz and Michael Bernal had 2 hits each; Bernal hit a 2-run homer.  Amed Rosario was 1 for 3.


Hudson Valley 3, Brooklyn 0 (Game 2, 7 innings)


Brandon Welch took the loss after allowing 3 runs on 6 hits over 4.1 innings.  The Cyclones managed just 2 hits.


Kingsport 6, Pulaski 4


Christian Montgomery struggled through 4.2 innings, giving up 4 runs on 5 hits, but the bullpen threw 4.1 shutout innings to get the K-Mets the win.  Oswald Caraballo was 3 for 4 with a double and homer.  Pedro Perez and Luis Ortega hit back-to-back homers in the 6th.


GCL Mets 7, GCL Cardinals 0 (7 innings)


Eucebio Arias threw 5 shutout innings, allowing 3 hits and 2 walks.  Alvin Maracaro had 3 hits.  Dash Winningham doubled and drove in 3 runs.  Raphael Ramirez doubled and drove in 2 runs.
