Last night on the farm, the Lucies had a walk off-win, a Sand Gnat pitcher threw a game, and the last 3 first round picks all had hits.  Let’s have a look: Las Vegas 4, Oklahoma City 1Rafael Montero gave up 1 run on 2 hits over 7 innings, walking 2 and striking out 9.  Kirk Nieuwenhuis was 2 for 4 with a double and homer.  Travid d’Arnaud was 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and a walk.  Matt den Dekker was 2 for 3 with a walk and strikeout.  Lucas Duda was 1 for 4 with a strikeout.  Ruben Tejada was hitless for the 4th straight game. Erie 6, Binghamton 4Noah Syndergaard struck out 5 in 5 scoreless innings, allowing just 2 hits and 1 walk; he needed only 56 pitches to complete 5 innings.  Armando Rodriguez allowed 6 runs in 3 innings to take the loss.  Danny Muno was 2 for 4 with a double and 2 RBI’s.  Wilfredo Tovar was 1 for 3 with a double and 2 runs scored. St. Lucie 5, Palm Beach 4 (10 innings)Rylan Sandoval singled home Kevin Plawecki to give the Lucies a walk-off win.  Plawecki had 2 hits, including a double, and 1 RBI.   Kyle Johnson was 3 for 5 with a double.  Jayce Boyd also doubled.  Dustin Lawley hit a 3-run homer, his 24th of the season.  Hansel Robles continued to be mediocre, giving up 4 runs on 7 hits in 6 innings, walking 4 and striking out 4.  Bret Mitchell and T.J. Chism each threw 2 shutout innings out of the bullpen.  St. Lucie is 1 game back of Palm Beach in the standings, although there is a 3-way tie in the loss column. Savannah 2, Hickory 0Seth Lugo struck out 11 in 7 scoreless innings, allowing just 4 hits.  Paul Sewald struck out 4 in 2 scoreless innings.  Eudy Pina and Jeff Reynolds each doubled.  Brandon Nimmo was 1 for 3; he now has a hit in 6 of his last 7 games. Brooklyn 2, State College 1John Gant allowed 1 run on 2 hits over 6 innings, walking 3 and striking out 7.  Johnny Magliozzi notched his 4th save of the season.  Gavin Cecchini was 2 for 4 with 1 RBI; his hit streak is at 10 games.  Patrick Biondi doubled and scored a run. Greeneville 5, Kingsport 2Andrew Massie allowed 2 runs over 5.2 innings, but Edioglis Villasmil let up 2 more over 2.1 innings to take the loss.  Jayckol De Leon had 3 hits and 2 RBI’s. GCL Nationals 10, GCL Mets 2Andrew Church lasted 5.1 innings and gave up 7 runs on 9 hits, striking out 3.  Luis Guillorme, Leon Canelon, and Dominic Smith had 2 hits each.  Smith hit his 3rd homer of the season.
