Binghamton, Savannah, and Brooklyn all had the night off, while Kingsport got rained out, which makes for an abbreviated night on the farm: New Orleans 12, Las Vegas 9Giancarlo Alvarado isn’t so good all of a sudden, allowing 6 runs in 2 plus innings.  Jack Leatherisch pitched 2 innings, all 6 outs he recorded were on strikeouts, but he also gave up 4 runs on 3 hits and 2 walks.  Tim Byrdak did throw a scoreless inning.  Travis d’Arnaud was 3 for 5 with a double, homer, and 3 RBI’s.  Ruben Tejada was 2 for 4 with a double and 2 RBI’s.  Lucas Duda was 2 for 5.  Brian Bixler and Matt den Dekker both homered.  Las Vegas remains a game back of Sacramento for first place. St. Lucie 8, Palm Beach 4Michael Fulmer had his best start of the season, allowing just 1 run on 2 hits over 6 innings.  He walked 4, which wasn’t great, but he also struck out 8.  Bret Mitchell threw 2 scoreless innings after Angel Cuan gave up 3 runs.  T.J. Rivera was 3 for 3 with a homer and 2 RBI’s.  Kyle Johnson was 2 for 4 with a 2-run homer.  Matt Reynolds and Robbie Shields had 2 hits each.  Jayce Boyd doubled.  With the win, St. Lucie is now in sole position of first place in their division. GCL Marlins 2, GCL Mets 1Octavio Acosta let up 2 runs over 6 innings, striking out 6, but took the loss.  Dominic Smith and Jhoan Urena had 2 hits each.
