The Mets racked up quite a few wins on the farm last night, including one that ended with a steal of home.  Let’s take a look:


Omaha 3, Las Vegas 2


Logan Verrett threw all 8 innings, but took the loss after allowing 3 runs (2 earned) on just 4 hits, striking out 7.  Taylor Teagarden hit a 2-run homer.  Both Kevin Plawecki and Cory Vaughn doubled.


Binghamton 2, Reading 1 (Game 1, 7 innings)


Daisuke Matsuzaka threw 6 innings, giving up 1 run on 3 hits while striking out 3; he also drove in a run.  Dilson Herrera was 0 for 2 with 2 walks.


Binghamton 7, Reading 3 (Game 2, 7 innings)


Tyler Pill struck out 6 in 5 innings, allowing 3 runs on 3 hits to get the win.  Wilfredo Tovar was 2 for 3 with a 3-run homer.  Dustin Lawley doubled and drove in 2 runs.  Brandon Nimmo was 0 for 3 with a walk.


Bradenton 5, St. Lucie 2


Luis Cessa threw 5 shutout innings, striking out 7 and giving up just 1 hit and 1 walk.  However, Beck Wheeler and T.J. Chism combined to give up 5 runs in the 8th to lose the game.  Gavin Cecchini was 0 for 4, as St. Lucie had just 5 total hits.


Savannah 9, Greenville 3


Alex Panteliodis went 8.2 innings, allowing 3 runs on 9 hits to get the win.  Yeixon Ruiz, Victor Cruzado, and Patrick Biondi all had 2 hits.  Dominic Smith was 1 for 5 with a run scored; Champ Stuart was 1 for 4 with an RBI.


Brooklyn 2, Vermont 1


Alberto Baldonado struck out 7 in 5 scoreless innings, and the bullpen did enough to hold onto the win.  Amed Rosario, Tomas Nido, Tyler Moore, and Tucker Tharp all doubled.  Michael Conforto was 0 for 3.


Kingsport 4, Greeneville 3


Vicente Lupo stole home to give the K-Mets a walk-off win after 3 runs in the 9th.  Eudor Garcia was 3 for 3 with a double and 2 RBI’s.  Persio Reyes started the game and threw 6 shutout innings.


GCL Marlins 9, GCL Mets 5


Darwin Ramos got hit hard, giving up 8 runs (4 earned) on 7 hits over 2.2 innings.  Natanael Ramos and Alvin Maracaro both doubled.
