Brad Holt pitched 1.2 scoreless innings to get the win, and Rhiner Cruz pitched a scoreless inning to get the save. Eric Campbell and Dusty Ryan both had 2 hits, including back-to-back homers. Brahaim Maldonado also homered. The B-Mets won despite 0 hits from Matt Den Dekker, Juan Lagares, and Reese Havens. It broke a 19 game hitting streak for Lagares who is now hitting a measly .386.Fort Myers 11, St. Lucie 7Armando Rodriguez got roughed up for 6 runs in 4 innings. Cory Mazzoni had his first rough performance giving up 3 runs (1 earned) on 3 hits in 1 inning, although he struck out 2. Josh Edgin gave up 2 runs (1 earned) on 2 hits and 2 walks. Eric Beaulac pitched a scoreless inning. Three errors didn’t really help the pitchers. Cesar Puello, Francisco Pena, and Rylan Sandoval all had 2 hits. Chism both threw 2 scoreless innings; Chism struck out 3 and now has a 1.19 ERA. Daniel Muno and Richard Lucas both had 3 hits; Lucas with 2 doubles and Muno with 1 double. Charley Thurber had 2 hits, including a double. Williamsport, the affiliate of the hated Phillies, also won, so Brooklyn remains tied with them for the wildcard spot with 4 games to go.
