My player projections continue with...
Dillon Gee, RHSPDillon Gee had a Jon Niese-type of season in 2011.  Overall, the rookie stayed healthy, giving the Mets 27 starts, 3 relief appearances, and 160 innings.  But after a first half in which he went 8-3 with a 3.76 ERA and 1.20 WHIP, he posted a 5.25 ERA and 1.60 WHIP, despite going 5-3 (Some guys get all the run support).Whether it was a lack of conditioning, or simply the league catching up to him, he was not the same pitcher after the All-Star break.  The fact that he didn’t have the same command of his tailing fastball and tilting curve also contributed to his downfall. But he’s back in 2012, and is all but assured a spot in the rotation.  The Mets are counting on him to up his game, and give them more of what they saw early in 2011.Projection: 12-13, 4.07 ERA, 1.36 WHIPFanGraphs:10-10, 4.28 ERA, 1.40 WHIP
