Heisey flashed his glove & his punchIn the bottom of the 6th in a 1-1 game David Wright stood on 2nd base as the go-ahead run with 2 outs.   Jason Bay lined a shot into the right field gap on which Reds reserve OF Chris Heisey made a very nice running catch to end the threat.   In the top of the 7th Heisey launched his 5th home run of the season into the left field seats, a solo shot, that broke the tie.   Brandon Phillips then drove in the Reds 3rd and final run off of Mets starter Jon Niese (6-3) on a ground-rule double.   Despite allowing the tying runs to reach base with 1 out in the bottom of the 9th Reds closer Francisco Cordero held on for his 24th save preserving the win for Reds starter Bronson Arroyo (9-4).   Cincinnati Reds 3, New York Mets 1.Box score
