Both pitchers were dealing tonight.  The Knuckleballer Ace R.A. Dickey worked in and out of trouble for 9 innings.  Brett Myers brought his hatred of the Mets to the mound and held the Mets scoreless until the 7th.  I looked like the Mets  would get to Myers in the top of the 6th when David Wright hit a one out double to open up the top of the 6th,  after Beltran drew a walk, Davis would come to the plate a strike out and Frenchy would fly out to left center.  Thus failing to score.  Dickey responded by pitching a scoreless bottom of the frame. The Mets broke out in the top of the 7th when Tejada would  break out of his 0-28 slump with a one out double,  and R.A. Dickey would Double (that's right, I wrote Double) Tejada in for the first run of the game.  Reyes would single up the middle and advance Dickey to Third.  Angel Pagan would hit into a fielders choice and beat out the double play and Dickey would come in to score.  The Mets would score 2 runs and chase Myers from the game. Dickey would set the Astros down 1-2-3 in the bottom of the 7th.  After the Mets failed to score in the top of the 8th, the Astros put their first run across cutting the Met lead to one.Geoff Blum would go yard and  tie the game in the bottom of the ninth with one out ruining Dickey's night and spoiling his second bid for a complete game.  Takahashi would relive Dickey and get send the game into extra innings.Reyes opened up the top of the 10th with a lead off single.  Pagan laid down a perfect bunt to move Reyes to second but also beat it out to boot, putting runners on first and second with no outs.  After Wright flied out to left field, Reyes and Pagan pulled a double steal putting them both in scoring position with Beltran at the plate, who the Astros would intentionally walk.  After Ike Davis ground out,  Jeff Francoeur would drive one to right only to be snagged by Hunter Pence.David Wright had to leave the game after an up the middle single.Takahashi would pitch a scoreless bottom of the 10th. Bobby Parnell, who would hit 102 mph on the his fastball, came in and pitched a scoreless bottom of the 11th and 12th.  Elmer Dessens would pitch the bottom of the 13thJose Reyes used his legs at the right time in the top of the 14th, after drawing a walk( he was on base 5 times tonight) , he was bunted over by Pagan and then stole third base.  Mike Hessman, batting for David Wright, drew a walk .  The Astros walked Beltran and with the bases loaded and one out, Ike Davis hit a sac fly and scored Reyes.  The Mets took the lead without a base hit.  Manny Acosta would come in and get his first save of the season.Tomorrow the Mets look to take the series with Pat Misch on the mound.
