Ooh ooh that smell, it must be the Marlins! The New York Mets showed the Florida Marlins how to abuse a Johnson, spanking Florida's ace Josh for 4 runs on 5 hits and 4 walks in 5 innings, then the stinky Fish defense wafted over Citi Field as the Marlins tossed the ball around aimlessly allowing the Mets to tack on 3 more runs for a 7-1 Mets victory.Another Johnson who left in the heat of battleMarlins starter Josh Johnson (0-1) entered the game 7-0 lifetime versus the Mets.   After the bottom of the 1st inning he was trailing 2-0 thanks to an opposite-field 2-run homer by David Wright (1).   The Mets never trailed.   The Marlins only run came on a 6th inning RBI double by Jorge Cantu.   Then in the bottom of the 6th Johnson gave up a lead off triple to new Met LF Jason Bay followed by a walk to new Met CF Gary Matthews Jr. and his manager had seen enough.   Johnson was replaced by reliever Clay Hensley with no outs and runners on the corners.Catch a whiff, or drop it, or throw it awayHensley promptly gave up a sacrifice fly to RF Jeff Francoeur.   At this point the Fish really began to stink.   Hensley made an errant pick off throw to 1B allowing Matthews Jr. to move into scoring position.   C Rod Barajas then doubled over the head of Marlin CF Cameron Maybin plating Matthews Jr. for a 4-1 Mets lead.   Angel Pagan pinch hit for Mets starter Johan Santana and singled to CF scoring Barajas and the Mets led 5-1.   Hensley was replaced by relief pitcher Dan Meyer who got in on the act quickly, making an errant toss of his own on a pick off play at 1B which allowed Pagan to move up to 3B.   An RBI ground out by SS Alex Cora brought home Pagan for a 6-1 Mets lead.Wood also beatenThe Mets finished off the scoring in the 7th inning.   Marlins reliever Tim Wood surrendered an RBI double to Francoeur that fell between 3 Marlins defenders who were looking at each other instead of the ball for the final 7-1 margin.   Santana (1-0) picked up the win with 6 innings of 4-hit ball.   Fernando Nieve (2 scoreless innings) and Francisco Rodriguez (1 scoreless inning) finished up the game.Box score
