The bones of Mets runs lay scattered far from homeThe New York Mets ended their scoreless drought after 24 innings when Ike Davis hit a 7th inning 2-run homer to right off of San Francisco Giants starter Matt Cain (7-8) that bounced into McCovey Cove.   But Mets starter Hisanori Takahashi (7-4) had allowed 6 runs in 2 2/3 innings and the Davis homer merely made the score 6-2.   The Giants got those 2 runs right back in the bottom of the 7th off of reliever Raul Valdes.   In the top of the 8th a David Wright sacrifice fly got the Mets to within 5 runs, then in the 9th Davis led off with his 2nd home run of the game and 13th of the season, a solo shot that cut the Giants lead to 4 runs.   2 outs later Ruben Tejada was hit by a pitch and pinch-hitter Chris Carter singled putting runners at 1st & 3rd causing Giants manager Bruce Bochy to summon his closer Brian Wilson.   Wilson struck out Angel Pagan preserving the win for the Giants and garnering his 25th save of the season.   The Mets are now winless in 3 games since the All-Star break.   San Francisco 8, New York score
