SuitSat is a satellite made of an old spacesuit. Basically the old suit is no longer useful so it is jettisoned from the International Space Station and experiments on things such as battery power and radio transmission are performed until the suit eventually burns up re-entering earth's atmosphere. I would like to jettison the New York Mets 2009 season from the ISS and have it burn up please. Can this be arranged?David Wright gave the Mets a 1-0 lead in the 1st inning, driving in Angel Pagan with a single. In the bottom of the inning the Houston Astros tied it up when Carlos Lee drove in old friend Kazuo Matsui. Then in the 4th inning winning pitcher Babe Ruth Mike Hampton (6-7) hit a 2-run homer off Johan Santana (11-8) to give the Astros a 3-1 lead.Strange day continued in the 5th. Luis Castillo of all people hit an RBI double to plate Angel Berroa. After an intentional walk to Wright, Castillo then scored on a Jeff Francoeur single which tied the game at 3. Santana's poor start continued and he immediately surrendered the lead.In the bottom of the 5th inning with runners on 1st & 2nd former 33 year old rookie, now 35 year old veteran, Chris Coste came to the plate 0 for 10 in his career versus Santana and promptly doubled to left-center driving in 2 runs to give the Astros a 5-3 lead. Santana wound up giving up 5 runs on 12 hits and 3 walks in 6 2/3 innings in a losing effort. In the top of the 6th Omir Santos hit a solo homer, his 5th of the season, to cut the lead to 1 run and give the game what would be it's final score of 5-4. The Odd Couple of Santos & Wright now both have 5 home runs on the season, 4 more than Hampton. After Castillo's 3rd hit of the game, SNY play-by-play announcer Gary Cohen stated that Castillo was batting .442 in his last 14 games, which affords me the opportunity to show this picture of one of my all-time favorite cars, the Oldsmobile 442. That it features a NY state license plate with the word "GRUMPY" on it is icing on a bitter cake. Please visit yahoo.com for the box score.
