In the wake of their dramatic 9-8 comeback victory on Monday night, the Mets mustered yet another late rally against the Padres tonight.  With a 3-run 8th, New York defeated San Diego by a score of 5-4.Angel Pagan led off the 8th with a solo home run.  Justin Turner and David Wright followed with singles.  They were bunted over to second and third by Lucas Duda (that's right, the cleanup hitter - Terryball!)  Pinch hitter Nick Evans lifted a sacrifice fly to center to tie the game, and one batter later, Ruben Tejada walked in the go-ahead run.The Padres wasted a solid outing by Wade LeBlanc, who went 6 innings, giving up 2 runs on 6 hits, striking out 5 and walking 1.  The Mets got Chris Capuano off the hook.  He surrendered 4 runs on 9 hits, walking 1 and striking out 3.  Over his last 5 starts, including tonight, Chris Capuano has averaged 4 ERs per outing.  He has averaged just over 6 innings per appearance in that time.  Not great, not terrible, but not enough to win on a consistent basis.  He's gone 1-3 with an ND over that span of starts.D.J. Carrasco picked up the win in relief of the injured Manny Acosta, and veteran Jason Isringhausen gutted out his 299th career save. The Mets, now one game over .500, continue to show heart.  It seems that no amount of injuries, misfortune, or early deficits can keep this team down.  after all, you gotta have heart.  Right, cast from Damn Yankees?
