Well the good thing about last nights game was it was over by 10:30 p.m. I woke up about 12 a.m. to use the loo and I checked my phone for the score, and I was glad I went to sleep when I did ! 12-2 !! That's not a rout that's an embarrassment !!I don't know whats wrong with Mike Pelfrey. He has literally turned into Mr. Hyde in his last four starts. I am not a pitcher but he doesn't seem like he's pitching hurt, I feel that he has lost his confidence and his mechanics are severly out of whack. Fernando Nieve should just be released. I am beginning to believe that what we saw of him last season was a aberration, and the only thing that he is good for is adding gasoline to a fire. The Mets activated Luis Castillo from the 15-Day Disabled List and demoted Ruben Tejada back to to Buffalo, but Slappy showed why he shouldn't even be on a major league roster right now, when he misplayed the relay throw from Angel Pagan that could have saved a Diamondback run. But we know Luis will not be released or benched so why even bother complaining about it.Last time was the first time since May 20, 2009 at Los Angeles, that Jose Reyes, Luis Castillo, David Wright and Carlos Beltran all started in the same lineup . I guess that the silver lining last night was the fact that Jose Reyes went 2-4 and showed no ill effects from the strained oblique that had been nagging at him for the past 3 weeks. Also Carlos Beltran went 1-4 , but unfortunately it all went for naught.Well hopefully R.A Dickey can right the ship tonight.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   " The first strike is deadly !!!"And with that said..... HERE COMES THE INFAMY !!!!Sadly on this date last year one time Met starter, Carl Wiley past away. He was78. Carl pitched for the Mets from '63-'65 and had compiled a record of 10-18 with a e.r.a of 3.29 in his three season with the Mets.Mo Vaughn was in Pheonix last night. He was spotted at the Alice Cooperstown resturaunt , eating Randy Johnson's Big Unit ( hot dog). That's over 20 inches of tube steak !!!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 " Mo loves Randy's big unit (hotdog!!!) !!!
